Comcast recently held a graduation ceremony to recognize participants in a special job training program. More than a dozen South Florida students completed “Comcast Youth-to-Career Link,” the company’s career readiness and job placement program designed for high school seniors.
During the graduation event at the Grand Palms Hotel and Golf Resort in Pembroke Pines, students received program completion certificates and signed “letters of intent” to ceremonially mark the potential beginning of their careers at Comcast.
Fifteen students who completed the program have been recommended for hire with Comcast across various departments, including customer service, sales and technical operations.
Comcast Youth-to Career Link (CY2CL) is a high school pathway recruitment program offering eligible workforce-bound youth the tools to aid in immediate career placement at Comcast. The program engages high school seniors who have an interest in taking a career exploration journey immediately following graduation.
Comcast offers competitive pay and benefits, including insurance, free Xfinity television and internet services for employees in serviceable areas, 401K match, and an employee stock purchase program.
