Comcast is holding a hiring event in Jacksonville specifically for members of the North Florida military community, including veterans, National Guard and Reserves members and military spouses.

The media and technology company is hiring for multiple positions, including Retail Sales Consultants, Customer Service Representatives, Sales Representatives and Installation and Service Technicians.

The event is on Wednesday, March 18 at the Morocco Shrine Auditorium in Jacksonville located at 3800 St Johns Bluff Rd South. The first session is in the morning at 11:00 am and the afternoon session begins at 4:00 pm. Participants only need to attend one session and should plan for the event to last two to three hours.

Walk-ins are welcome, but interested participants are strongly encouraged to RSVP by visiting HireMilitaryVeterans.com or by texting HIREMILITARY TO 44222 (data and messaging rates may apply). Participants should also bring multiple copies for their resumes with them.

The event is a part of Comcast’s commitment to hire 21,000 military community members by the end of 2021. As a part of that pledge, Comcast offers military community members a special set of enhanced benefits targeted to their specific needs. For National Guard and Reserve members, this includes 15 days paid time off annually for their military training in addition to their normal paid time off. If they are called to active duty, the company matches the difference between their military base pay and their Comcast salary, and provides continued benefits, such as health insurance, for up to three years. Visit ComcastCareers.com/Military for more information.

In addition, Comcast employees receive benefits including insurance, free Xfinity television and internet services for employees in serviceable areas, 401K match, and an employee stock purchase program. For more information, visit ComcastCareers.com.
