New interactive store located in growing Durbin Park shopping center
The newest Xfinity Store in Florida is now open in St. Johns County in The Pavilion at Durbin Park. The store is designed entirely around the needs of Comcast customers, allowing them to experience the latest Xfinity services firsthand, plus handle account-related tasks like signing up for new services or exchanging equipment.
The new Xfinity Store has an open, inviting environment and features multiple counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants, comfortable seating areas and displays that illustrate all the features of Xfinity’s full range of products and services, including Xfinity Internet, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity Voice, and Xfinity Home products. The latest mobile devices from Apple, Google, LG, Motorola and Samsung, as well as wireless accessories are available for purchase at the store.
Plus, customers can pay bills, get answers to account-related questions and return old equipment or pick up new equipment. They can even schedule appointments online ahead of time for certain service requests by using the online Xfinity Store Locator to find the nearest store and selecting the “Book Appointment” button.
“We’ve designed our new Xfinity Store in St. Johns County entirely around the needs of our customers, so they will feel welcome and safe. We want them to have the opportunity to feel comfortable and test drive the latest Xfinity products and services,” said Javier Garcia, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast in Florida. “People working from home can find out about our different Xfinity Internet services and speeds. Families that are looking to cut down expenses can learn about how Xfinity Mobile can save them money on monthly cell phone bills. Our employees are trained experts and can educate customers about features, demo products for them or help them set up their accounts.”
Due to COVID-19, Comcast has implemented several new store policies, including:
- Requiring face coverings for all employees and customers
- Practicing social distancing measures such as limiting the number of customers in the store to maintain a six-foot distance between persons
- Installing plexiglass dividers between interaction areas, kiosks, and on workstations
- Cleaning stores professionally twice every day
The new Xfinity Store is located at 550 Durbin Pavilion Drive, Suite G106 in The Pavilion at Durbin Park shopping center and is open seven days a week. Store hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm.
