Comcast Supports Palm Beach County Youth with Suits for Seniors Partnership

Comcast sponsors event and donates laptops

As a part of its commitment to bridging the digital divide and helping everyone build a future of unlimited possibilities, Comcast donated 20 laptops to one of its Palm Beach County community partners, Suits for Seniors.

Comcast surprised the organization with the computers during its 4th Annual Golf and Give Charity Game on March 1 at the Drive Shack in West Palm Beach. Comcast was also the presenting sponsor for the event.

Suits for Seniors is a local nonprofit organization that mentors high school students to help them understand the importance of education, personal finance and professionalism and assist them in developing and achieving their goals for life after graduation.

Comcast has been at the forefront of addressing digital equity over the past ten years. Since launching its digital equity program, Internet Essentials, in 2011, Comcast has connected more than 10 million Americans to affordable broadband service at home.

In 2022, Comcast unveiled its Project UP initiative and re-affirmed its commitment by pledging $1 billion over the next ten years to advance digital equity and help build a future of unlimited possibilities.

This will include not only getting people connected to the internet, but also working to make sure everyone has the resources and skills needed to succeed in our increasingly digital world. For more information on Project UP, visit corporate.comcast.com/impact/project-up.
