Days before The PLAYERS Championship kicks off at TPC Sawgrass, 50 expectant military mothers and their loved ones gathered inside the PGA Headquarters for a special event. Operation Shower enlisted Comcast Business’s support to help celebrate the families and their little ones’ arrival into this world, with surprise after surprise. The organization put on a big, beautiful baby shower for the new mothers.

Operation Shower’s mission is to host fun-filled, joyous baby showers for military families to ease the stresses of deployment and separation. Comcast Business sponsored the “Sweet Dreams” themed event and provided the new parents with bibs, sippy cups and a brand new laptop.

Two of the celebrating moms, Kaye Peterson and Victoria Wuttke, said they were thrilled to hear the good news that every family in the room would be receiving a new laptop, thanks to Comcast.

Peterson’s husband Kyle has served in the Coast Guard for 11 years. They attended the event with their two month old son, Hudson. The infant is the couple’s first child. She expressed gratitude for the new computer.

“Honestly, my laptop really needs an upgrade, so this is very needed,” Peterson said. “I’m very thankful that Comcast Business gave me, and all the moms today, some new technology that will really help us all.”

Wuttke is pregnant with her first child with her husband Tyler, who has served in the Navy for more than 10 years. They are expecting a baby girl. Coming from a family with six brothers, Victoria Wuttke is excited to be having a girl and can’t wait to share photos and videos with her family.

“I am not great at social media, but I know I want to capture every moment once my baby girl is here,” Wuttke said. “This laptop will really help me find a way to share every special milestone with my family members.”
