In the Store: A Friendly Face You Can Count On

Brent Delawter, Xfinity Store Manager in Lady Lake, has been with Xfinity for more than seven years, starting as a sales consultant before moving into leadership. His passion for mentoring and customer care shines through every day.

“Helping people improve their lives and situations is what I love most about my job,” Delawter said. “I got into leadership to be a mentor. I feel like supporting my team is just as important as serving our customers.”

Delawter also understands the unique nature of serving The Villages community.

“The Villages is a dedicated community. Our customers value loyalty, so we have to do right by them the first time,” he said. “Once they make a decision, it’s hard to win them back, so every interaction matters.”

One recent experience highlights Delawter’s commitment to going above and beyond. A customer came in with a phone that wouldn’t work and contained irreplaceable memories like photos of grandkids and voicemails from loved ones who had passed away. After other solutions failed, Delawter personally worked to recover the data.

“She was ready to start from scratch, but we got her back into her device,” he said. “Later, she wrote a letter to my boss saying how important that was to her. That moment reminded me why we do what we do.”

On the Road: Technicians Who Keep You Connected

Our technicians are the backbone of reliable service in The Villages. They work tirelessly to ensure every home and business stays connected, and their pride in their work shows in every interaction, whether it’s the satisfaction of delivering cutting-edge services or the joy of connecting with the community members who make The Villages special.

Luis Camacho has been with Comcast for 12 years and is currently working on installations for Comcast Business.

“I’ve always enjoyed how Comcast is looking out to make things better in the community. They actually do care and want to make things right with customers,” Camacho said.

Abdiel Roque is a five-year team member who installs Xfinity internet throughout The Villages as a Senior Technician.

“There’s a lot of thought put into our products,” Roque said. “They’re done very well, with features that make them easier to use and more accessible. I’m proud to represent a product I believe in.”

For newer technicians like Tyler Hynson and Jerry Griffin, who have both been with Comcast for six months, the customer connection is what matters most.

“I love interacting with customers and building those personal relationships, as well as fixing their internet and making them happy,” Hynson said.

“My favorite part is our dedication and focus on the customer,” said Griffin. “We’re serving an excellent product and keeping the internet moving one job at a time, one customer at a time.”

In the Field: Sales Professionals Who Understand Your Needs

Community Account Representative Ozzie Ford has spent seven years building relationships in Central Florida and loves the unique energy of The Villages.

“My favorite thing about my job is getting to meet and help all the residents,” Ford said. “The residents here are super social, and that means we get to join them at events and really connect. Talking to people about our services and offers is what gets me excited every day.”
