Comcast’s Florida Region ends the 2025 year achieving a major milestone by expanding America’s smartest and most reliable broadband network in more places than ever before. The company reached more than 120,000 additional homes and businesses in Florida. From Lehigh Acres in Southwest Florida to Havana in the Florida Panhandle, the company’s dedicated and highly skilled network expansion teams worked with speed to connect more Floridians to Xfinity and Comcast Business Internet, video and mobile services for the first time.

120,000 New Florida Addresses Able to Connect to Smart, Reliable Internet

Comcast is expanding Florida’s connectivity with its latest investments, bringing the nation’s smartest, most reliable network to even more communities. The 120,000 new homes and business across Arcadia, Avon Park, Cape Coral, Coral Springs, Hastings, Havana, Okeechobee, Homestead, Jacksonville, Lake Worth, Miami, Naples, Port Saint Lucie, St. Augustine, Punta Gorda, and The Villages, and many other areas have joined nearly 65 million homes and businesses nationwide with access to Xfinity and Comcast Business products and services, which fuel innovation, productivity, and everyday connection. Among the largest expansion areas in Florida are Lehigh Acres, where more than 15,500 homes and businesses are now serviceable, and Charlotte County, with more than 16,400 new connections.

Expanding Florida’s Internet Access Through 2026 and Beyond

Comcast will continue network expansion projects into 2026 and beyond, with plans to expand even further in rural areas across the state including in 13 counties: Bay, Glades, Hamilton, Hardee, Hendry, Indian River, Lake, Nassau, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota, Union, and Wakulla. Residents across Florida can visit Xfinity stores to explore Xfinity Internet plans with a five-year price guarantee and best-in-class WiFi Gateway included, as well as deals on Xfinity Mobile. Plus, business leaders can connect with a Comcast Business expert in-store.
