The ribbon-cutting event at 12885 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33181 celebrated Comcast’s commitment to connectivity, entertainment, and community impact.

The store also provides bill payment, equipment exchanges, and personalized support from local experts, led by Store Manager Alonna Sapporito.

A Celebration of Community and Technology

The event was hosted by Jackie Guerry Maybeck, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Comcast’s Florida region, who emphasized Comcast’s dedication to meeting customers where they are — both online and in person.

Comcast Gives Back: $25,000 Grant to Senior Planet

As part of the grand opening, Comcast presented a $25,000 grant to Senior Planet, a nonprofit organization that empowers older adults through technology-focused programs. This funding will help expand digital literacy and social engagement initiatives for seniors throughout Miami-Dade County.

Cesar Mendez Rio, Miami Center Manager for Senior Planet, accepted the grant and expressed gratitude for Comcast’s support.
