Comcast Lift Zones - student in classroom

Lift Zone is part of Internet café at Incubate Neighborhood Center

April 7, 2022 – One of Comcast’s newest Lift Zones in Florida will be a part of an upcoming ceremony in Fort Pierce.

Incubate Neighborhood Center (INC) is holding a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of the multi-service community hub at the Means Court Center.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 am at the Means Court Center, which is located at 532 N. 13th Street in Fort Pierce. This event is free and open to the public. Visit the City of Fort Pierce events calendar for additional information.

INC will offer a host of resources, to include an Internet café that is also a Comcast Lift Zone. The organization’s mission is to revitalize poor communities of color by bringing community partners together to bridge the gap and deliver much needed resources to underserved groups.

Comcast’s Lift Zones are safe spaces equipped with WiFi where people can get online and access the resources of the Internet. Lift Zones are part of a larger multiyear plan by Comcast to support community-organization-based WiFi at more than 1,000 Lift Zones throughout the country, with nearly 100 already up and running across Florida.

In Fort Pierce, there is also a Lift Zone located in the Fort Pierce Recreation Center at 902 S 21st Street.
