Fiber-Rich Network Makes All Xfinity and Comcast Business Services Available, Including Multi-Gig Internet
August 3, 2022 – Comcast’s full suite of services, including residential internet service with speeds up to 3 gigabits per second (Gbps) and internet service for businesses with speeds up to 1.25 Gbps, are now available in the Spring Lake Improvement District in Highlands County for the first time. Comcast’s expansion of its advanced network to Spring Lake is a part of its work to bridge the digital divide by bringing broadband service to new and underserved areas.

Residential customers in Spring Lake will be able to take advantage of Xfinity’s full suite of Internet products, including:

Internet Essentials will also be available in Spring Lake. The Internet Essentials tier offers 50 Mbps internet service for $9.95 a month for qualified households. The new Internet Essentials Plus tier offers 100 Mbps internet service, which is twice as fast, and costs $29.95 a month.
Qualified households may be eligible to have the cost of their monthly home Internet service paid for through the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) Affordability Connectivity Program (ACP). The ACP’s $30 a month credit for internet and/or cellular phone service completely covers the monthly bill for Internet Essentials or Internet Essentials Plus.
