Comcast recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest Xfinity store in Boynton Beach with customers, government officials and community partners. The grand opening event featured giveaways and games for attendees, along with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
The company also announced a laptop donation to Healthier Boynton Beach, a nonprofit that works to inspire, support and improve the lives of caregivers in the local community.
“It was a great day of celebrating not just the grand opening, but the growth of the Florida Region as a whole and the ways we’re expanding broadband access to more communities across the state,” said Jackie Guerry Maybeck, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Comcast Florida Region. “We are incredibly excited to serve our community and our customers at this new store.”
The new 3,100 square foot store marks Xfinity’s seventh brick-and-mortar location in Palm Beach County and is part of Comcast’s ongoing work to enhance the customer experience as it expands its network to new areas across Florida.
At the store, customers will experience Xfinity’s internet and mobile services firsthand and learn more about Xfinity’s latest products, such as Storm-Ready WiFi, which is Comcast’s backup connectivity solution that comes equipped with cellular and battery backup to keep customers connected even when the power goes out.
Customers can also come to the store for assistance with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and Internet Essentials, Comcast’s signature digital equity offering that connects low-income households to high-speed broadband service for an affordable price.
The store is located at 326 N Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach and is open seven days a week. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
