Whether you’re looking for the latest cell phone or the best streaming device, there’s a new must-stop shop in Sarasota. The Xfinity store is now open on the southeast corner of Stickey Point Road and U.S. 41. The 3,600 square-foot retail space is the perfect place to browse for the newest technology – including Storm-Ready WiFi, a Comcast innovation that can keep you and your family online even when the power goes out.
The Xfinity store is located at 6511 S. Tamiami Trail. Check out why store manager Tammy M. said she’s “been waiting for this day.” 👇
“This is a big deal for us to open this store in Sarasota. There’s incredible growth happening here,” Comcast Florida’s Regional Senior Vice President, Jeff Buzzelli said. “We want to be there to serve both residential and commercial customers with the best products on the market.”
Customers can now make an appointment or simply swing by the new Xfinity store, giving them the ability to experience products first-hand. They can also pay their bills, get answers about account-related questions or swap out equipment. It’s also a great spot to save money by bundling services and signing up for Xfinity Mobile – the best kept secret in wireless. The store is part of Comcast’s ongoing commitment to Sarasota County by giving residents direct access to an in-person retail space. Just last month, the technology company announced the completion of $22M worth of infrastructure projects.
“We’re excited,” Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce CEO Heather Kasten said. “The $22 million dollar investment that Comcast and Xfinity is making into our region is going to make such a difference in the lives of our residents as well as our business community.”
