Summer is a time for fun and sun. It’s also the perfect chance to reconnect with your favorite neighbors, loved ones or old friends. Whether it’s attending an Independence Day celebration or gathering for a backyard barbecue, there’s plenty of opportunities to create memories. There’s even more reason for excitement in parts of Citrus County, Florida. With Comcast Business and Xfinity’s arrival to town – reaching each other has never been easier.
Thousands of homes and businesses in Inverness, Hernando, Floral City and Beverly Hills now have access to reliable, high-speed Internet along with a full-suite of connectivity options like Comcast Business Mobile and Xfinity Mobile. The incredible news, made possible thanks to an $8M investment by Comcast, gives entrepreneurs and residents access to a powerful, secure connection from Xfinity’s network with 99.9% reliability.
Brittany Nalbandian is an Installation & Service Supervisor working to connect news customers in Citrus County. Nalbandian has been with Comcast since 2011. She said it is amazing to see people welcome a new provider to the area.
“The community is very excited to have Comcast in town! We’re happy to be here,” Nalbandian said. “The customers who call for new services can’t wait for installation day.”
Billy Brady, a Service Technician with more than 22 years of experience with the tech leader, happens to call Inverness home. Brady, like many of his neighbors, said he was thrilled to hear about Comcast’s expansion and investment.
“Homes and businesses in Inverness are really enjoying the speeds they’re now able to get with Comcast, including me!” Brady said. “With this expansion, I’m now able to enjoy the full range of Comcast services. I’m really happy to add Xfinity X1 to my services.”
To celebrate Comcast Business and Xfinity’s arrival to the market, we took over Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters on July 1 and InVibe Nutrition on July 2. The first 100 guests each day enjoyed a free beverage on us. Trust us. They were delicious. 😊
We were also part of the fun at the City of Inverness’s Patriotic Evening! Residents joined us on July 3 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Depot Pavilion for the Family Fun Fest sponsored by Xfinity. There were balloon animals, face painting and more fun summer activities for all ages. The night concluded with a concert and fireworks over Lake Henderson. 🎆
Heads up! Be sure to look out for Comcast Business and Xfinity at Small Town Saturday Night on August 31.
