South Florida’s Latin community gathered this past weekend for one of the most important soccer games of the year. Fútbol fans adorned their team’s colors on Sunday night for Copa America’s final, Argentina vs. Colombia. Everything was on the line. While Colombia wanted to win the prestigious title for a second time, Argentina fought hard to get their 16th cup and become the team with the most wins ever.
Millions watched the historic rivalry at watch parties across the American continent including at one of Miami Beach’s most iconic spots. Florida’s technology leader took over The Clevelander to give fans a front row seat to the nail-biting match. The event was possible thanks to NOW TV Latino‘s live programming. “NOW TV Latino is just what a big portion of our customer base needed,” said Perez. “It is perfect for those that want to watch TV in their native language without having to pay a high price or commit to a contract.”
NOW TV Latino, offering some of the best Spanish-language programming, can be viewed at home or on-the-go via the Xfinity Stream App. Whether it’s your favorite telenovela or the next big sporting event, it’s now all within reach.
Bryan De Benito is a Retail Consultant from Kendall’s Xfinity store. He also joined in on Sunday’s festivities at The Clevelander. He enjoyed spending time with his fellow soccer fans and emphasized the importance of giving customers more options.
