As Florida’s technology leader, Comcast’s presence in the Sunshine State spans from Key West through the Panhandle. The company’s commitment to the community is deep and can be traced back for decades. With the goal of creating unlimited possibilities for all, Comcast continues to connect Floridians to opportunity by investing in nonprofit organizations, trusted partners and new technologies.

Take Broward County for example. Dawn Stagliano, Government & Regulatory Affairs Director, helps oversee the company’s outreach efforts in the area. She said Comcast’s investment in Broward County is extremely important for the future of its communities and the customers we serve.

“There is such an incredible sense of community in Broward County and it’s a true honor for me to lead this area’s government affairs efforts for Comcast Florida,” said Stagliano. “I believe that our strength lies in our diversity and unity, and I look forward to continuing to work with our local allies and community partners that help us impact so many lives every year. Together, we can build a brighter future for our community, ensuring that every voice is heard, and every person has the opportunity to thrive.”

Stagliano said consider this when thinking about Comcast’s impact in Broward County. Of over 32,000 statewide employees, more than 1,120 call Broward County home. Comcast’s state-of-the-art network includes more than 20,000 miles of lines. It powers more than 400,000 Xfinity WiFi hotspots and provides an Internet connection with 99.9% reliability.
