As Florida’s technology leader, Comcast’s presence in the Sunshine State spans from Key West through the Panhandle. The company’s commitment to the community is deep and can be traced back for decades. With the goal of creating unlimited possibilities for all, Comcast continues to connect Floridians to opportunity by investing in nonprofit organizations, trusted partners and new technologies.

Take the Treasure Coast for example. Rachael Bonlarron, Government & Regulatory Affairs Director, helps oversee the company’s outreach efforts in the area. She said Comcast’s investment in the Treasure Coast is extremely important for the future of its communities and the customers we serve.

“I take great pride in leading government and external affairs for Comcast in the Treasure Coast. As its name so accurately describes the region, it is a community rich of unlimited possibilities and untapped potential, and through Comcast’s engagement, I am eager to discover new ways to make a positive and lasting impact,” said Bonlarron. “With the support of our Team UP volunteers, our $1 Billion investment in Project UP initiatives, and our relationships with local partners, there is nothing but opportunities on the horizon for the communities we serve throughout the Treasure Coast.”

Bonlarron said consider this when thinking about Comcast’s impact in the Treasure Coast. Of over 32,000 statewide employees, more than 260 call the Treasure Coast home. Comcast’s state-of-the-art network includes more than 7,950 miles of lines. It powers more than 163,000 Xfinity WiFi hotspots and provides an Internet connection with 99.9% reliability.
