Miami Celebrates Culture and Connection at Calle Ocho Music Festival

The streets of Miami’s Little Havana burst with culture, energy and music at the world’s largest Latin music festival. The iconic Calle Ocho Music Festival brought the community together this past weekend to celebrate the traditions that make Miami so special. Comcast deployed the company’s residential connectivity brands, Xfinity and NOW, to the heart of the party and ready with swag and special surprises.

Xfinity recently announced a new offer, specifically for South Floridians. The package is a great option for families and combines essential services – Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Mobile and NOW TV Latino – all into one. The offer is only available inside Xfinity stores in the Broward and Miami-Dade counties and at a special introductory price for a limited time.

Noraly Caldera is part of the local Xfinity team on the ground for the festival. She loved connecting with the community and answering questions about their connectivity needs.
“Having the chance to interact with existing and potential new customers in such a happy and lively setting was my favorite part of the day,” Caldera said. “We had tons of amazing gifts for them. The response to our new offer was incredible. It’s a game changer. They were genuinely interested to learn how Xfinity is reaching out to the Latino community. I can’t wait to be part of more events like this.”

To celebrate the day, Comcast brought beloved television personality Lourdes Stephan to the festivities. The Telemundo network star spent time meeting and snapping photos with fans, making the festival memorable.

Jackie Guerry Maybeck leads sales and marketing for Comcast’s Florida Region. She joined her team and Stephan in Little Havana for the festivities. She expressed the importance of showing up for customers at one of the year’s most anticipated events.
“Being at the Calle Ocho Festival was a wonderful opportunity to connect and celebrate the culture and traditions that make Miami so incredible,” Maybeck said. “It was specially exciting for me and my team because we had our newest offer to share with them, which combines the services that every household needs into one package. This all-in-one solution makes life easier and comes at an unbeatable value, helping families stay connected, entertained, and closer to what matters most, all in their preferred language.”

Xfinity’s participation at the Calle Ocho Music Festival reaffirmed its commitment to supporting and celebrating the Latin community, while introducing connectivity solutions to simplify and enhance everyday life. To locate the nearest store and take advantage of our latest offer, click here.
