Comcast Celebrates Community and Connectivity at “Tech & Taste Social” in Collier County

In a vibrant celebration of community, connection, and innovation, Comcast recently hosted the first-ever Tech & Taste Social in Naples, FL. This intimate gathering brought together more than 15 of Southwest Florida’s most influential voices for an evening of engaging conversation, new friendships and product insights.

Guests were treated to a firsthand look at how Xfinity and Comcast Business is shaping the future of connectivity for families and businesses alike — through cutting-edge technology, flexible packages, and unbeatable pricing. Set against the elegant backdrop of the renowned Campiello restaurant, the event served as both a networking opportunity and a showcase of Xfinity’s latest offerings in Internet, mobile, entertainment, and home security. Comcast representatives also shared exciting news — Florida’s technology leader recently opened a brand-new Xfinity store in Naples, located at 2326 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL 34109.

Among the evening’s attendees was Amber Alvarez, founder and editor of Paradise Coast Parent, an online resource for families in Southwest Florida. Alvarez expressed her enthusiasm for the event and the insights she gained at Tech & Taste.
“Tech & Taste Social was a total pinch-me moment,” Alvarez said. “Being recognized as one of Naples’ most influential voices was powerful. But what really caught my attention? I didn’t have service in the room yet everyone with Xfinity Mobile did. That moment led me to check the new store. Between the savings, the latest devices, and features like the Xfinity Pro Wi-Fi backup for storm season, it just makes sense. This night was about connection in every sense of the word.”

Throughout the evening, guests engaged directly with Comcast executives and local tech experts, learning how the company’s innovative tools and services help keep communities connected to the moments that matter most — through both Xfinity and Comcast Business services in Collier County.

Jen Boyett, Comcast’s Government Affairs Director for the region, also addressed the group, highlighting the company’s deep-rooted commitment to community impact. Since 2010, Comcast has contributed over $17 million in cash and in-kind donations to nonprofits across Southwest Florida —a point that resonated strongly with attendees.

As Comcast continues to innovate and expand, events like these highlight the company’s dedication to not only connecting people to ultra-fast Internet but also fostering long-lasting connections in the communities it serves.
