Hello, High-Speed! 🛜 Comcast Brings Ultra-Fast, Reliable Internet to Lehigh Acres

A new era of connectivity is now live in Lehigh Acres, FL! Comcast officially announced the activation of its next-generation network in the Lee County community during a vibrant event, featuring community leaders and a few special surprises. The celebration marked a major milestone for both Comcast and Lehigh Acres. This investment unlocks ultra-fast, reliable internet for more than 11,000 homes and businesses in the fast growing area.

To celebrate the occasion, Comcast donated $5,000 to Lehigh Community Services. Charlotte ‘Rae’ Nicely is the nonprofit’s Executive Director and attended the event. Nicely happily accepted the contribution, thanking Comcast for the company’s continued investment, presence and support in the community.
“This goes far beyond just faster downloads.” Nicely said. “I can’t express enough what an incredible difference this will make, especially for school children. As a retired teacher, this hits close to my heart.”
Lee County Commissioner David Mulicka was one of several elected leaders who attended the celebration. Mulicka praised Comcast’s decision to build a network in Lehigh Acres. He said the community is pleased to know Xfinity and Comcast Business services are now available in the area.
“Seeing Comcast have that community outreach for rural areas, I think is a testament to their character and their customer service for Lee County,” Commissioner Mulicka said. “I am proud to see this investment in partnership with the state in Lee County.”
Comcast’s goal to reach more and more corners of Florida with ultra-fast, reliable internet will continue into 2026. In total, the company’s broadband network expansion in partnership with the State of Florida will reach 64,000 locations in 29 counties across the state.
