Central Florida Entrepreneurs Rely on Community, Grit and Ultra-Fast Internet to Power Their Growth

In beautiful Lake County, you’ll find a community beaming with charm and full of hustle. Clermont is known as “The Choice of Champions.” While the title typically applies to elite athletes, there are two powerhouse entrepreneurs chasing their dreams in Central Florida. Local business owners, Matt Mobley of Hancock Realty and Reidel Sanchez of Estrella Insurance, are proving when you couple grit and community with ultra-fast, reliable technology — anything is possible.
Mobley began his career as a local Clermont high school math teacher and basketball coach. In 2013, driven by a desire to support his children through college, he decided to take a leap of faith and jump into the real estate market.
“I just wasn’t making enough money to help my kids go to college,” Mobley said. “And that is something I really wanted to pay for.”

After earning his real estate license, Mobley started small by calling contacts, sending emails and walking neighborhoods.
“By the end of that year, I had twelve closings,” Mobley explained. “That was 2013.”
Two years later, he opened Hancock Realty and has since grown it into a respected local agency. Mobley said reliable connectivity is essential to his business. He chose Comcast Business to meet his needs. So far, he’s impressed by the services. Internet powers every deal, from digital signatures to scheduling showings and coordinating with lenders.
“Comcast Business has been able to provide me with internet that has no interruptions, which was a challenge for us in the past with other providers. The average real estate transaction is 100 emails,” Mobley said. “My business doesn’t exist without internet access.”

Sanchez said he also understands how a strong internet connection can transform and fuel a business’s growth.
After 30 years of running a truck-washing business in Miami, he sold the company and moved north in search of a better quality of life for his family.
“My business in Miami was very hands-on, which I loved. But one of my best friends told me, ‘You’re not getting any younger.’ He encouraged me to look into other businesses,” Sanchez said. “I also wanted a better city for my kid to grow up in, so I sold the truck washing business and looked into Clermont. I liked what I saw and made the move.”
Once he and his family relocated, Sanchez said he opened Estrella Insurance, focused on serving the growing Latino community in the area.
“We’ve been open almost a year now in November and we’ve already broken rookie records,” Sanchez said. “We’re doing something right!”

Most of Sanchez’s business takes place online, making internet access vital. After struggling with frequent outages from a previous provider, he switched to Comcast Business.
“Comcast is basically everything to my business. Most of my leads come through the internet and I need to be able to respond quickly. Without internet, I’m stuck,” Sanchez said. “My Comcast Business service hasn’t gone down once.”
Sanchez also praised Comcast Business Mobile for its affordability, saving more than $200 a month compared to his previous plan.
For both Mobley and Sanchez, reliable internet isn’t just a convenience, it’s the backbone of their operations. With Comcast Business’ reliability, they don’t need to worry about staying online. They can focus all their effort on building their futures.
