Salon Owner Sees Beauty in Entrepreneurship, Optimistic for New Comcast RISE Recipients
Smiling faces. Sparkling walls. Pink EVERYWHERE! ✨ When you step into Bottle Blonde Salon in Jacksonville, Florida, you know you’re about to get the hair transformation of your dreams by creative, energetic and fun stylists.
Owner Lexus Kile started her path to cosmetology in 2018. She found success through her ambitious and visionary nature, always coming to the table with new ideas. Kile traveled across the country looking for ways to reinvent the typical salon experience.
As a result of her travels, Bottle Blonde was born. Take a look. 👇
“What inspired me to open my business was seeing a need for diversity in the beauty industry,” said Kile. “I love that I can make people feel beautiful every day.”
Kile’s goal is to ensure her business meets the need of every type of client and provides them with a top-notch experience. She is a past recipient of Comcast RISE, which gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive business support grants. Kile said she felt excitement when she learned Comcast RISE recently returned to Greater Jacksonville. In this new round, the program will provide 100 small businesses with a $5,000 monetary grant plus technology makeovers, marketing support, media schedules, coaching sessions and education support.
Here’s the great news. 👏 The newest Comcast RISE recipients will be announced this month.
“Comcast RISE has impacted my business,” said Kile. “Not only by helping me hire new employees and getting the exposure that we need, but also giving me the confidence to do so!”
